The following are the basic treatment principles of none-drug defervescence methods:
(1) Temperature: adjust room temperature to 20-24℃
(2) Clothing: one piece of loose and comfortable clothing will be ok
(3) Water: the water intake amount (including the boiled water, milk, fruit juice, etc) is calculated in accordance with the weight
(4) Warm water bath: take a bath for 20 minutes every 3 to 4 hours (temperature is kept between 30 - 40 ℃, to expand the skin capillaries and to help heat dissipation)
(5) Use of defervescence pasters: Stick on a few special warm places of the body, to help local heat dissipation.
After the above usage, only when the body temperature exceeds 38.5 degrees, antipyretic will be used only, and when the body temperature exceeds 39 degrees, the antipyretic suppository will need to be used.
